- Private parking lot: Can improve security of the driveway and reduce manpower cost of having a guard stationed by building management
- Public parking lot: Can be linked to database of stolen vehicles from law enforcement agencies for real-time alert notification which would assist in the apprehension of suspects in a time efficient manner. Also capable of alerting local authorities of vehicles with expired registration.
- Tollbooth management for highways and/or bridges
- Capable of matching license plates of approaching vehicles to a database of prepaid toll or bridge commuters to expedite traffic flow without the use of a separate transponder.
- Mobile Patrol: Installation in law enforcement vehicles for real-time alert notification of database matches while patrolling (e.g. stolen vehicles, Amber Alerts, other wanted vehicles of interest)
- Capable of scanning vehicles and recognizing their LPs while the police car patrols through a parking lot or cruises up a street.
- Citywide Surveillance: Cameras installed at intersections/roadways can be set to send real-time alert notification to law enforcement agencies if a LP is recognized and found to match a stolen or otherwise suspicious vehicle in the set database.
- Batch processing: Software can be run against off-line prerecorded video images to identify suspect vehicles when compared against a predetermined law enforcement database.
